Connect an AI assistant

Add this site to ChatGPT, Claude or another MCP client so you can ask questions about services, read news articles and get contact details without leaving the chat.

This URL is the same address the app is served from, with /mcp added. Copy it and paste it into your chosen client.

How to connect

ChatGPT

  1. Open https://chatgpt.com/#settings/Connectors/Advanced and enable Developer mode.
  2. Click the Create app button next to the back button.
  3. Add a connector name and paste the MCP URL above.
  4. Click Create.
  5. Enable the app from the chat composer, then ask ChatGPT to use this app.

Claude

Click the link below to open Claude with the connector name and URL already filled in:

Open Claude custom connector
  1. Review the pre-filled name and URL.
  2. Click Add connector.
  3. Enable the connector from the chat composer, then ask Claude to use this app.

If the prefilled form does not open, go to Claude's Connectors page, choose Add custom connector, name it and paste the MCP URL above.

Claude Code

Copy this command and run it in a terminal:

  1. Run the command in your terminal.
  2. Start Claude Code and run /mcp to confirm the app is connected.
  3. Ask Claude Code to use this app.

Other MCP clients

  1. Open the client's MCP server or custom connector settings.
  2. Create a remote MCP server connection.
  3. Name the connection and paste the MCP URL above.
  4. Finish any sign-in or authorization prompts.
  5. Enable the connection, then ask the assistant to use this app.

Refresh after the app changes

A connected assistant caches the tool list. After the site is updated, refresh the connection so the assistant sees the latest tools.

ChatGPT

  1. Open ChatGPT's app preferences and pick this app under Enabled apps.
  2. Next to Information, click Refresh.
  3. If the URL changed, paste the latest URL from above.
  4. Start a new chat and ask ChatGPT to use this app.

Claude

  1. Open the Connectors page and select this connector.
  2. Refresh or update the connector's tools.
  3. If the URL changed, paste the latest URL from above.
  4. Ask Claude to use this app.

Claude Code

  1. Start a new Claude Code session — it loads the latest tools when it connects.
  2. If the URL changed, run claude mcp remove mcgarrigle-co-uk-rebuild, then run the install command again with the latest URL.
  3. Ask Claude Code to use this app.

Other MCP clients

  1. Open the client's MCP server or connector settings.
  2. Select the connection created for this app.
  3. Refresh the tool list, reload the server, or reconnect it.
  4. If the URL changed, paste the latest URL from above.
  5. Start a new chat or session and ask the assistant to use this app.
